Our July house party this week was a success as we continue to grow our network of progressive young women and men.
We are looking forward to announcing a large September event soon – get your list of friends to bring ready!
Our June event epitomized the power of coming together. Young leaders, at a low ticket price, together raised a significant amount of money that will make a big difference in progressive campaigns.
We hope you had fun at our get together, and will be announcing our July event soon!
WTF’s Fall Reception at Emma Bistro on September 23 was full of new faces and powerhouse speakers.
We heard from Erin Coleman, candidate for State Senate in District 20 in Davidson County, from Davidson County Clerk Brenda Wynn about the importance of We Have the Power, and from Sarah McCall about the Emerge Tennessee project dedicated to recruiting, training, and electing more Democratic women in Tennessee. And Michele Johnson from the Tennessee Justice Center gave us an update on the 3 Star Healthy Task Force and health care access expansion in Tennessee.
Our May 3, 2016 event at the lovely Clifton Avenue home of Doug Knight and the late Catherine Snow, one of WTF’s founders, was a HUGE success, even after a last minute move from the First Amendment Center.
