MEET INDYA KINCANNON
Indya Kincannon is long-time community leader, teacher, mom and former special program manager in Mayor Madeline Rogero’s administration. Elected to the Knox County Board of Education in 2004, she served 10 years and chaired the Board for three years. Indya is running for Knoxville Mayor to succeed Mayor Rogero, who is term-limited. As Mayor she will work to spread opportunity to all parts of the city and will balance smart growth while protecting green spaces. Indya will work to connect families with economic opportunity, place a priority on affordable housing and proactively work to create communities that work for everyone.
Her Primary Election Day is August 27, 2019.
