Meet State Rep. Brenda Gilmore
State Rep. Brenda Gilmore is running for Senate District 19, the seat held by retiring Senator Thelma Harper. She won a 4-way Democratic Primary with 64% of the vote and now faces two Independent candidates in the General Election. Rep. Gilmore was first elected to the TN House of Representatives in District 54 (Nashville) in 2006. She has focused her legislative agenda on criminal justice reform, women and children’s issues, senior citizens and work place equity issues for all Tennesseans. WTF is proud to recognize Rep. Gilmore for her commitment to advancing women’s equality in all arenas.
Her General Election Day is November 6, 2018.
