Meet Katrina Robinson
Katrina Robinson, a first-time candidate and graduate of the Emerge TN Class of 2018, is challenging incumbent Senator Reginald Tate (D) in Senate District 33. Senator Tate has a long track record of advocating against a women’s right to reproductive justice. With only five Democratic senators in the TN Senate, it is critical we send a Democratic senator from District 33 who will protect a woman’s right to choose and advocate for women’s equality in all arenas. Katrina is a nurse, small-business owner, entrepreneur and community leader who has a long, successful track record of addressing issues of inequality in education, healthcare, and economic and workforce development in Memphis. A loving Mom to her two children, she has been widely recognized for her community and business leadership in Memphis.
Primary Election Day is August 2, 2018. With no republican in the race, the final outcome will be decided in the Primary.
